As a trained massage therapist of 20 years, I have devoted much of my life to the study and exploration of various holistic modalities and styles of bodywork & transformative practices. I specialize in a unique fusion of acupressure massage, which opens the meridians (channels) in the body, combined with the long, harmonious strokes of Swedish, with the use of warm stones & moxa, nourishing oils and with the grounded presence that I naturally bring to all of my sessions.

Most of my training has been done at Harbin School of Healing Arts in California. At the time of my deep dive into my studies of shiatsu (acupressure) in particular, I was going through a very transformative stage in my life and was re creating myself. I had been emotionally as well as physically stuck in a place and in a relationship and life that was not of my own desire. I was living out and surviving a life where I was not truly myself or fulfilled. I came into my power through the hands on application and study of acupressure. Shinzo Fujimaki was my Shiatsu instructor and for the first time in a very long time, I felt truly seen. His presence brought me deeper into my own. His level of attunement and what I would call mastery of self brought me deeper into myself and my healing capabilities. On that note, I do not heal anyone else but I am greatly supported in guiding my clients to open themselves to the healing and transformation that is available. The body holds vast wisdom and by creating time & space to listen to the wisdom, we can anchor these guiding energies and open ourselves to more vitality.

I offer my work with deep gratitude to Shinzo and to my other teachers including Kami McBride, herbalist from California and Miss Beatrice Torres Waight, Yucatec Maya herbalist from Belize (who taught me traditional Mayan abdominal massage) who passed in 2012.

I provide a very supportive and holistic space which allows my clients to feel more at home with themselves in their bodies. Many times the body just needs to unwind enough to feel its own ability to re balance. When we tend to our body and senses, we nurture this realm which is often disregarded or looked at as luxury when it’s truly needed for our overall well being.
